Motor coach 305
Motor coach 305 belonged to an order of 150 trams, originally delivered with open balconies. From 1907, they were technically improved and received windshields on the balconies. Forty years later, 305 was withdrawn from passenger service and made available to the Central Workshop in Grotehondstraat as a working tram. The bodywork was not touched. In 1963, 305 was given the number 5855. In 1966, a pantograph was installed on the roof in addition to the trolley pole so that it could be used all over the network.
In 1993, the work trolley was restored by De Lijn staff in the wartime 1943 version. The tram is representative of the 1940-1944 period.
