Motorcar 7386

The Compagnie Générale des Tramways d'Anvers (CGTA) built twenty motor coaches for Les Vicinaux Anversois, the operator of the electric neighbourhood tram lines to Brasschaat and Schoten. The coaches were numbered 1 to 20. The coaches had a crimson coat with decorative lines and lettering in yellow.

In 1920, the CGTA sold ten of them to the Buurtspoorwegen. The other ten remained with the Antwerp tram company. In 1928, one more coach went to the NMVB. The staff called them the VAs, referring to the Vicinaux Anversois.

Over the years, the carriages underwent numerous conversions. On the occasion of the 1930 World Fair in Antwerp, they were converted into standing-room-only carriages to carry around a hundred passengers. Later, they ended up on line 1 (Noorderplaats - Zuidstation).
